Sentence court

The following defendants were sentenced Tuesday in Common Pleas Court by Judge Joseph Kubit.

Malachi Void III, 35, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 36 to 72 months in state prison followed by 24 months of probation and pay $200 in restitution to the county drug task force after pleading guilty to a possession with intent to deliver cocaine charge filed by county detectives following a Sept. 25, 2020, incident in Butler.

Michael Guerriero, 45, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 31 to 62 months in state prison and pay $243 in restitution to Walmart after pleading guilty to a possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver charge, a related conspiracy charge and an unrelated retail theft charge. Butler City police filed the drug charges following a March 23 incident and Butler Township police filed the retail theft charge following a Jan. 23, 2022, incident.

Martel Damon Mitchell, 29, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 30 to 102 months in state prison after pleading guilty to a possession of fentanyl with intent to deliver and receiving stolen property charges filed by state police following a March 27 incident in Butler.

Daniel Nabona Mukaabya, 36, of Karns City, was sentenced to serve 24 to 60 months in state prison and pay $1,308 in restitution to the Fairground Market after pleading guilty to possession of heroin with intent to deliver and bad checks charges. Butler City police filed the drug charges following a May 24, 2022, incident, and state police filed the bad checks charge following a March 6 incident.

Kenneth Lee Roy McGinnis III, 31, of Indiana, was sentenced to serve six to 23 months and 15 days in the county prison followed by 12 months of probation and pay $671 in restitution to Walmart after pleading guilty to a charge of retail theft filed by Butler Township police following a May 13 incident.

Jeffrey Dylan McMillen II, 32, of Saxonburg, was sentenced to serve 11 months and 15 days to 23 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve the balance of his sentence on electronic monitoring after pleading guilty to a possession with intent to deliver charge filed by state police following an Aug. 16, 2022, incident in Clinton Township.

Deborah A. Shook, 55, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and fined $3,000 after pleading guilty to three counts of possession of a controlled substance filed by the attorney general’s office following an Aug. 23, 2022, incident in Butler.

Leah R. Testa, 34, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a possession of a controlled substance charge filed by county detectives following a May 19, 2022, incident in Seven Fields.

Nicholas E. Abbott Jr., 29, of Valencia, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of statement under penalty filed by state police following a Sept. 11, 2021, incident in Center Township.

Beth Ann Helzer, 43, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and complete 50 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a reckless endangerment charge filed by state police following a July 4, 2020, incident in Butler.

Kimberly M. Gray, 46, of Washington, was sentenced to serve 18 months of probation and pay $2,000 in restitution to First Commonwealth Bank after pleading guilty to a charge of theft by unlawful taking filed by Penn Township police following a Nov. 30, 2022, incident.

Cassie Ellen King, 33, of Butler, was fined $50 after pleading guilty to a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle filed by Butler City police following a Sept. 10, 2017, incident.

Jennifer Lauren Cornelius, 40, of Slippery Rock, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation, fined $25 and ordered to pay $7.18 in restitution to Sheetz after pleading guilty to two counts of retail theft filed by Slippery Rock police following incidents on Oct. 10 and Nov. 18, 2022.

Dakota Martin Sloan, 29, of Renfrew, was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and ordered to pay $7,196 in restitution to Donegal Insurance after pleading guilty to two counts of theft, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and a charge of possession of a controlled substance filed in four complaints by several police departments between January and May 2022.

Jason Paul Geibel, 35, of Slippery Rock, was sentenced to serve 22 months of probation and pay $9.82 in restitution to the Petrolia Mini Mart after pleading no contest to two counts of false imprisonment and two counts of harassment filed by state police following a March 27, 2022, incident in Summit Township, and pleaded guilty to a retail theft charge filed by state police following a Feb. 23 incident in Petrolia.

David Trevor Sterck, 45, of Cranberry Township, was sentenced to serve 36 months of probation including nine months of house arrest, fined $2,000 and ordered to complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to fleeing from an officer and DUI charges filed by state police following a Jan. 30 incident in Cranberry Township.
