JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley School Board elected a new president and vice president on Monday evening.

Kathy Whittle was elected president by a unanimous vote. She was nominated by Jeff Widdowson.

Widdowson was elected vice president of the school board. He was nominated by Tim Hester.

Tracy Vitale, superintendent, praised the efforts of outgoing board president Jim Nickel as well as Eric DiTullio, who resigned as president in June following controversy over a social media post.
