Miranda Gehm

Mars Area High School junior Miranda Gehm appeared in the Pittsburgh CLO Academy’s production of “Into the Woods” Oct. 8 and 9 at the CAPA Theater in Pittsburgh.

Gehm, 16, daughter of Ryan and Debra Gehm of Mars, filled the role of Red Riding Hood in the production, which offers students ages 13 to 18 an opportunity to work with a team of theater professionals and to perform on stage. The entire production is rehearsed and presented in a five-week period.

“Into the Woods,“ which features music by Stephen Sondheim, intertwines the plots and characters from several Brothers Grimm fairy tales.
