Doug Huffman was victorious in both hurdle events and ran a leg of the Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley boys team’s 400-relay, which also won, on the way to the Falcon Knights’ 78-72 track and field triumph over North Clarion on Tuesday.

Baylee Blauser came in first in the 100 meters, 200 meters, long jump, and triple jump for the girls, who lost 88-57.

Butler dropped the first set, but rallied for a 3-1 victory Thursday night at Mars. Scores were 17-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-15.

Coleton Welter had seven kills, Tyler Figlioli 12 digs for the Golden Tornado (8-7, 5-5), who host Meadville Monday.

Softball

Natalie Bowser drilled a two-run homer and Leah Exley hit a three-run shot for Keystone, which A-C Valley bowed to, 15-4, in softball action. Avah Burke doubled, singled and had two RBI for A-C Valley, which hosts Clarion Monday.
