Seneca Valley junior vocalists Allison Alexander and Elizabeth Hixon were the only choral students in Pennsylvania to qualify for the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) All-National Honor Ensembles, which were held online in late January.

The event included several rehearsals with conductors, workshops with guest artists and renowned clinicians. Each ensemble will create a recorded performance to be premiered online during Music in Our Schools Month in March.

To be eligible, students must have participated in the state-level festival in the previous school year and were required to submit an audition video.

Allison and Elizabeth also participate in band and orchestra at Seneca Valley.
