North hoops wins on road
Balanced scoring helped North Catholic's boys basketball team earn an 86-59 road victory over Wheeling Central Catholic Wednesday night.
Andrew Maddalon and Max Hurray paced the Trojans with 19 points apiece while Max Rottmann added 11.
North outscored WCC in a wild first quarter, 32-21, before the Trojans settled in on defense, allowing just 38 points the rest of the game.
