Four Butler County teams are among the field as the WPIAL volleyball playoff brackets were released Friday afternoon.

Freeport (12-1) is the No. 1 seed in Class 3A and will not play until Oct. 30, taking on the winner of the Indiana-Beaver match.

North Catholic (14-0) is the No. 1 seed in Class 2A and also plays Oct. 30, taking on the Frazier-South Park survivor.

Seneca Valley is seeded No. 8 in Class 4A and hosts Upper St. Clair at 7 p.m. Tuesday night. Should the Raiders win, they will get top-seeded North Allegheny on Thursday.

Mars is seeded 13th in Class 3A and hosts Blackhawk at 7:30 p.m. Monday. That winner gets No. 2 seed Thomas Jefferson on Wednesday.
