Drivers in 2-vehicle crash ID'd
Police have identified the drivers of a motorcycle and car that collided Tuesday night on Route 8 in Butler Township, leaving the biker injured.
Ryan McClellan, 19, of Butler, who was driving the Yamaha motorcycle, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries, Butler Township police said Thursday. His condition was not available.
Police said the other driver, Sheena Louder, 32, of Butler, pulled out of the Super 8 motel parking lot just before 7:30 p.m. and turned north. McClellan was traveling south on Route 8 and struck the rear, driver's side tire of Louder's Chevrolet Malibu.
Louder was not injured. The cycle had to be towed. The Butler Township Volunteer Fire District and Butler Fire Department assisted police at the scene.
The southbound lanes were closed and northbound traffic was detoured through the Days Inn parking lot for about 30 minutes.
No charges had been filed as of Thursday.
