Last year, the family event was attended by close to 800 children and adults, who were able to get up close and climb upon the “things that go,” which were provided by some 50 exhibitors.

[naviga:h3]Harmony cancels 1st outdoor concert[/naviga:h3]
A hallmark of summer, the first concert in Harmony Square, has been canceled.
According to a post on the borough Parks Department’s Facebook page, the July 2 performance — which would have featured the Allegheny Brass Band, a British-style ensemble — was canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
“This is based on several factors, one being the potential health risk to the audience sitting in close quarters in the square, the other being the financial impact of finding sponsors to help finance the Allegheny Brass Band and fireworks,” the post read.
The post added that the decision to cancel was made in coordination with the concert’s sponsor, Harmony Museum.
No decision has yet been made about the July 16, July 30 or Aug. 13 concerts.
