Butler Bikes and BBQ pushed back to Sept.
The Butler Bikes and BBQ event is rescheduled for September after organizers decided to push back the original July date over coronavirus concerns.
The three-day event will be filled with a variety of motorcycles, food and merchandise vendors, bike accessories and live entertainment each night, according to an announcement from the Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau.
To open the event, a motorcycle parade will begin in downtown Butler that leads into the Butler Farm Show Grounds on Sept. 17.
The event was originally planned to kick off July 17, according to Jack Cohen, the tourism bureau’s president.
Admission and parking are free and the event will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sept. 18; from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sept. 19; and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 20.
Motorcyclists from across the region can follow suggested driving routes leading them along scenic back roads, various historic landmarks, museums and towns in Butler County. Riders will have different options for their routes, ranging from 50 or 75 to 100 miles.
