Butler Catholic’s youth soccer program produced a championship, two runner-up finishes, nine players on the All Diocese team and three MVP selections at the Pittsburgh Diocese Championship Tournament at the North Allegheny Intermediate School Saturday.

The second-grade team won the Diocese championship, defeating St. Killian’s 4-1. Nathan Gilkey, Riley Neubauer and Atticus English made the All Diocese team and English was named tourney MVP, scoring 21 goals in the competition.

The third-grade team placed second, losing to St. Phillip in the title game. Colin Neubauer, Tommy Edwards and Greyson Sayler were named to the All Diocese team and Sayler was named tourney MVP.

The fourth-grade team placed second as well, losing to Aquinas Academy in the final. Noah Simmons, Jax Geibel and Colten English made the All Diocese team and English was named tourney MVP.
