Children in Mars didn't mind rain at the Fourth of July Parade Thursday. Free candy and a chance to splash in puddles more than made up for it.
Fourth of July brought a splash of holiday fun from fireworks after dark in Butler to parades in Mars, Zelienople and Harrisville.
“Independence — what this country is all about,” said Vance Williams, who attended the Zelienople Independence Day parade .
