MOON TWP — After rescheduling his preliminary hearing seven times in Allegheny County, Jacob Scott Roskovski, 21, of Center Township opted to give up his right to a hearing Tuesday on a list of felony and misdemeanor drug charges in connection with a variety of psychedelic drugs that police said they found at his apartment in Moon Township last summer.

His case will now move forward to the Common Pleas level for trial. Roskovski was arrested and arraigned Jan. 24.

His lawyer, Charles Porter, declined to comment on the case.

In a packed courtroom in Coraopolis, Roskovski was accompanied by his father and mother, Scott and Stephanie Roskovski. The couple was indicted in April by a federal grand jury on charges of embezzling $1.3 million from Butler Health System.

According to court documents, FBI and other federal agents went to the apartment that Jacob Roskovski was renting last summer as part of the investigation into his parents.

At the apartment, investigators said they found a large cache of illegal drugs, including marijuana, LSD, psychedelic mushrooms and other hallucinogenic substances.

At the time of his arrest, Jacob Roskovski was a student at Robert Morris University, but according to a school spokesman, he is not enrolled for this summer or the fall.
