Saxonburg wiped out an early four-run deficit and put together an 11-8 Butler County Area Baseball League win over Freeport recently.

Garret Ben’s two-run single highlighted an eight-run Freeport second that gave the team an 8-4 lead. Ben McMillen hit a three-run homer for Saxonburg in the third and a Blaze Voltz sacrifice fly knotted the game.

Sean Furlong scored the go-ahead run in the fourth. Isaiah Seybert added a sacrifice fly and Furlong a run-scoring single in the sixth.

Caleb Traggai had a two-run double and a single for Saxonburg in the victory.
