Worker lunch draws near
Friday is the last day to register for the Butler County Chamber of Commerce’s 25th annual employee appreciation luncheon.
The annual event provides a way for area employers to thank their employees with a nice meal and good times, according to Stan Kosciuszko, chamber president. They serve up food for about 150 people each year, he said.
“Any business knows that it’s the employees that make them successful,” Kosciuszko said. “Everybody needs to reward their employees.”
Attendees can rest assured that the banquet won’t feature a long series of speakers, Kosciuszko said. It’s meant to be fun.
“We don’t have any speakers,” he said. “No programs. It’s food, fun, prizes and one award.”
That award is the county’s annual employee of the year award.
Diners will pull raffle tickets as they enter to win several gift baskets and other prizes as they feast.
The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at The Atrium on Route 422 in Prospect. Tickets are $25 per person. Call the chamber at 724-283-2222 for more details.
