Business donates $2,500 to SV

3 teachers to get funds for projects

JACKSON TWP — Three Seneca Valley Senior High School staff members will receive an extra boost in funding for their projects from Fun Fore All.

The locally owned family fun park in Cranberry Township recently donated $2,500 to the Seneca Valley Foundation.

Specifically, the contribution will be used for four mini-grants that will benefit the students at the senior high school.

Recipient Joe Logsdon, senior high school honors engineering experimentation and graphic arts teacher, will be able to use two of the grants for robotics equipment. Rachel McGourty, senior high school family and consumer science teacher, is going to obtain 3D cutters while Dave Reichard, senior high school mathematics teacher and Academic Decathlon adviser, plans to provide his decathlon team with more flashcards and quizzes.

“We know that working with Seneca Valley is a great partnership,” said Chris Camp, Fun Fore All president. “They are investing into the future of the community by building and growing the next generation of leaders, which will in turn help the community to grow and prosper.”
