[naviga:h3]Doctor joins BHS cardiovascular team[/naviga:h3]

Dr. Brian Coleman Carey joined Butler Health System Cardiovascular Consultants on Jan. 1.

Carey is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and vascular/endovascular medicine.

He will see patients at 127 Crossroads Campus in Butler and at 100 Innovation Drive, Slippery Rock.

Carey received an undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colo., and his medical degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his internal medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and his cardiology/interventional cardiology fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

[naviga:h3]Urologic practice restructures at BHS[/naviga:h3]

BHS Urologic Associates, formerly Urologic Associates of Western Pennsylvania, joined the Butler Health System on Dec. 31.

The practice will continue to see patients at 104 Technology Drive, Suite 204 in Butler.

BHS Urologic Associates includes Dr. Kevin B. Traub, Dr. Anthony D. DiMatteo, Hailey Spirko and Trishia Desiderio.

Traub and DiMatteo previously practiced with Urologic Associates of Western Pennsylvania, which was led by Dr. Mark C. Musmanno and Dr. Stephen D. Campanella. The practice restructured after Musmanno and Campanella retired.
