PennDOT spending $125.8 million on infrastructure projects in Butler County
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation issued a news release Friday, April 26, highlighting numerous infrastructure improvement projects which were nearing completion in its District 10, which includes Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana and Jefferson counties.
The state has allocated $125.8 million to Butler County projects alone, as well as another $46 million for Armstrong County projects.
In Butler County, the improvement projects include the Portersville Bridge replacement project, various improvements to Freedom Road, the Balls Bend Realignment, and safety improvements along the Route 68 corridor and Three Degree Road.
In Armstrong County, the projects include the replacement of Poverty Hill Bridge, the realignment of Route 422, and a safety improvement project on Route 28/66.
