Santino Sloboda, 11, of Butler took first place in the 12-under, 66-pound division at the NUWAY National Wrestling Championships in Louisville, Ky., last weekend.

He was also chosen for the Team PA Gold 12-under team and went 6-1 to help that squad finish fifth out of 21 teams at the NUWAY Mat Mayhem National Duals Tournament.

Sloboda earned All-American Wrestler status at both competitions.
