Carson Bish scored two goals and the Butler Middle School hockey team improved to 8-0 with a 5-2 win over Blackhawk recently.

Rowan Musko, Owen Denny and Ron Kuczynski added goals for the Golden Tornado. Andrew Roskovski, Jack Johnson, Owen Denny, Landon Romett and Brayden Povlick had assists.

Goalie Lauren Legrand improved to 4-0 on the season. Butler plays North Hills at 9:20 p.m. Monday at Robert Morris University.

Santino Sloboda, 11, of Butler took first place in the 12-under 70-pound division recently at the Pine-Richland Holiday Rampage.He also finished 5-1 to finish third in the 12-under 66-pound division of the Powerade Junior Championship in Canonsburg.
