[naviga:h3]Parking restricted downtown Friday[/naviga:h3]

Parking will be restricted Friday on more than a dozen streets in Butler for street cleaning. From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. parking will be restricted on South Monroe, Spring and Eola streets and Brown, Fairview, Walker, Rockway, Donaghy, Wilkins, Woodland, McGuire and White avenues.

Mingle on Main will host a .5K Run for Reading on Aug. 16 to benefit the South Butler Community Library.

The run, about a third of a mile, will be held during the monthly Mingle on Main event on Main Street in Saxonburg.

Start times for the untimed run and walk are 5, 6 and 7 p.m.

Registration is $20 for adults and $10 for children and includes a T-shirt.

Runners can register on Mingle on Main’s website or Facebook page and by visiting the library.
