A Butler County man was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals Service and police after attempting to flee arrest for attempted criminal homicide by jumping from a roof in Sharon, Pa., on Saturday night, Sept. 12.

According to a news release, U.S. Marshals teamed up with the Sharon Police Department to carry out a search warrant for a Butler County man wanted for attempted homicide.

When law enforcement arrived, the suspect attempted to flee by exiting through a second-story window and jumping from the roof of the building.

The man suffered injuries from his fall, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and is receiving medical treatment. The identity of the suspect has not been revealed.
