Butler elementary school wrestler Santino Sloboda took second place in the junior/62-pound division at the Middle Atlantic Wrestling Association’s Eastern National Championships in Salisbury, Md., recently.

There were more than 17 states represented.

Butler’s junior varsity (4-6, 3-5) dropped a 10-7 decision to Seneca Valley in extra innings recently.

Kyle Weitzel had two singles, a double and RBI, Andrew Arbanas two singles and Josh Grigoletti a double and RBI for the Golden Tornado.
