Cody Reep scored the winning goal in overtime — off an assist from Trevor Ackelson — to lead the Butler Middle School hockey team to a 5-4 win over Beaver in the PIHL Tier 3 championship game recently at Ice Castle.

Brayden Povlick and Reep scored two goals each for the Golden Tornado, Reep adding an assist. Ackelson had a pair of assists.

Ronald Kuczynski also scored a goal for Butler, Tristan McGarrah and Carter Bobonak adding assists. Goalie E.J. Delaney made 21 saves.

Andreas Portugalio scored two goals for Beaver. Owen Waddell and Kyle Shearer had one each.
