PENN TWP — A Beaver County woman is accused of stealing her brother's debit card and using it to buy a $150 gift card as well as cigarettes and soda pop.

Danielle L. Noah, 42, of Monaca faces a hearing later this month on felony forgery and other charges.

Penn Township Police allege Noah took the USX Federal Credit Union Visa debit card from her brother's home on Deer Trail Lane and used it Sept. 20 at the GetGo convenience store in Cranberry Township.

She bought one pack of cigarettes, two Dr. Peppers and $20 worth of gas, totaling $29.95, according to court documents.

That same day, police said, she used the card at the Walmart in Cranberry Township to buy the gift card and cigarettes, totaling $151.59. To make that purchase, police noted, Noah forged her brother's name.

District Judge Sue Haggerty on Nov. 28 arraigned Noah on a felony charge of forgery and misdemeanor charges of theft, receiving stolen property and two counts each of access device fraud and identity theft.

She remains free on $5,000 unsecured bail while awaiting a preliminary hearing Dec. 20 at Haggerty's office in Saxonburg.
