A Butler woman on Thursday was sentenced to time already served in the county prison in relation to three cases, which included drug delivery and theft charges.

Tara L. Hockenberry, 25, was sentenced to three to six months in Butler County Prison, 12 months probation, $500 in fines and restitution. With time served, she was to be paroled immediately.

She was also ordered to submit 25 hours of community service and pay $321.30 in restitution.

Hockenberry previously pleaded guilty on Aug. 19 to felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, misdemeanor false identification to law enforcement, misdemeanor retail theft and summary driving on a suspended license.

The charges stem from incidents between 2014 and 2017. The felony drug delivery charge was a result of an incident on Oct. 7, 2014, when state police vice unit troopers said she sold heroin and crack cocaine to a police informant on Broad Street at State Street in Butler.

She was arrested on March 11, 2016, following an investigation into four individuals who were accused of selling heroin at 122 Pillow St., which police had under watch for suspected drug activity.

During the search of the home, Hockenberry arrived at the apartment and was arrested.

Following arraignment, she was placed in the county prison on $25,000 bail, which was later posted.

She also pleaded guilty to the retail theft count after being charged in an incident at Walmart, Butler Township, on Jan. 14, where she was accused of stealing a soundbar valued at $228.

The false identification and suspended license charges stemmed from an incident on Jan. 17 in Butler Township.
