Two men were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital after a two-vehicle wreck on Route 68 around 4:45 p.m. Monday.

OAKLAND TWP — The drivers of two vehicles, both men, were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with injuries after an accident around 4:45 p.m. Monday on Route 68.

A Mazda car suffered front-end damage while a Jeep SUV rolled onto its roof, though officials at the scene were unsure what exactly had happened.

The cause of the incident was under investigation by state police.

Both drivers were able to get out of their vehicles before police and firefighters arrived.

The Jeep had a broken window, though its airbags had not deployed.

Traffic was diverted down North Oakland Drive while the vehicles were towed from the scene.

The Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
