Mid-Oct. finish set for parking garageThe Centre City parking garage should be finished by mid-October, it was reported by project manager Joe Saeler at Tuesday’s Butler City Council meeting.The final pouring of concrete on the fourth floor will be done Thursday. Following that, the columns will be painted and hanging lights will be installed.Saeler said the project is about $55,000 under budget.The parking garage is a four-floor, 239-space structure. Next to it an $8.2 million, 76-room Marriott Springhill Suites is being built as part of the $13.2 million Centre City project.
