CRANBERRY TWP — At Thursday night’s meeting, the township supervisors:

- Approved the conditional use and land development application for a warehouse and distribution center to be built on Marshall Road.

The 81,000-square-foot building was proposed for 5.35 acres near the intersection with Rowan Road by developer Sterling Properties.

There are two houses on the property that will be torn down, though a barn will be saved and relocated.

Sterling does not yet have tenants lined up for the building, but plans to offer a small amount of office or showroom space to compliment the storage space in the building.

- Announced that next Thursday’s regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

- Voted to revise the township fee schedule to include a new voluntary water-testing program. Under the program, residents who allow water samples periodically to be collected from their residence will receive a $50 credit on their bill annually.
