CRANBERRY TWP — Bad weather caused two vehicles to collide Friday morning.

The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. on a small bridge on Rochester Road near Robinhood Drive.

“One of the vehicles hydroplaned and struck the other head-on,” said township police Sgt. Chuck Mascellino.

The area had recently experienced heavy rainfall.

Mascellino could not say which vehicle hydroplaned.

Township police, firefighters and EMS medics were on the scene.

Two people were injured in the collision and were transported via ambulance.

Rochester Road between Robinhood Drive and Graham Park Drive was closed until about 11:30 a.m., when both vehicles were towed from the area.
