Freeport schools sale OK'd
KITTANNING — An Armstrong County Judge on Thursday approved the sale of the buildings that used to be Freeport Junior High School and Freeport Kindergarten Center.
The buildings, both in Freeport Borough, were sold to developer Ronald Mailki for $175,000. They were appraised at $164,000.
The sale was approved by Judge Kenneth Valasek, according to Larry Robb, Freeport School District program director.
Robb said he hopes the sale will close next week.
