The Saxonburg Panthers polished off a perfect season by edging Riverview, 2-1, in the 2015 Alle-Kiski 10-Under Girls Fastpitch Softball League championship game recently.

Brynnae Coe had a run-scoring double — following a Madilyn Boyer single — in the first inning, then drilled a solo homer in the fourth for what proved to be the winning run.

Louie Culleiton singled for the Panthers. Madi Gardner and Coe combined to pitch a two-hitter.

Saxonburg (18-0) won the league title for the second successive season.
