Police Appreciation
Harrisville Borough Council recently honored its police department by presenting it with a certificate of appreciation and restaurant gift certificates in observance of Police Appreciation Week in May. Mayor Gary Hughes is joined by, from left, Officers Daniel Anschutz and David Murman and Chief William Scheckler. The three officers are all part-time and patrol the borough for about 40 hours a week combined.
