A Butler Township woman suffered moderate injuries Monday afternoon when her car hit a utility pole on the hill on North Main Street in the township. Emergency crews from Butler and Butler Township extricated 67-year-old Ellen Romett from her vehicle. She was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital. The 3:25 p.m. accident backed up traffic for several hours as the car had to be removed and the utility pole had to be replaced.
