The Pittsburgh Huskies U-18 AA hockey team improved to 8-0 with wins of 7-1 over the South Hills Panthers and 5-2 over the North Pittsburgh Wildcats recently.

Nick Makozy scored three goals with Christian Miller adding two, Connor Scott and Troy Double one each in the win over South Hills. Mitch Rupprecht, Dustin Davis and Eric Leya had two assists each.

Double scored twice against the Wildcats with Perry Shiring, Davis and Scott adding a goal each. Brett Berner had two assists.

Clay Bachman had 24 saves in the win over South Hills, Eric Phelps 25 saves against North Pittsburgh.

WrestlingButler’s Wesley Osmer, competing in the 10-under heavyweight bracket, placed second at the “Havoc on the Hill” open tournament Saturday in East Liverpool, Ohio.Osmer also competed in the 12-under age bracket and placed second again.
