Butler Catholic’s fourth-grade boys basketball team recently won the “Jammin in January” tournament hosted by St. Sylvester School in Brentwood.

The Saints compiled a 6-0 record in the two-day tourney which included several of the top Catholic teams in the area.

Butler Catholic team members included Dan Voelker, Jake Dobson, CJ Singleton, Nick Rine, Presley Ornelas, Flint Watson, Jacob Klinko, Luke Bowden, Trevor Braun and Jon Livermore.

Butler’s eighth grade boys White team improved to 15-1 with a victory over Shaler recently.

Conner Ollio scored 12 points with Dominic Schmidt and Tarik Taoufik adding eight each.

First Baptist Christian Elementary’s boys defeated Penn Christian, 27-14, as Ben Drake had 11 points and 10 rebounds, Judah Roth eight points, nine rebounds and six steals, Kevin Fitzgerald eight points, 10 rebounds and five steals.
