The Butler eighth-grade White boys basketball team nipped NA Carson, 46-44, recently.

Nicolas Kibbie scored 15 points for Butler with Conner Ollio adding 13 and Michael Harris six. Butler is 11-1 on the season.

Josiah McConnell scored 17 points as the Butler Catholic boys junior varsity defeated Aquinas Academy, 29-10.

Tom Voelker scored 14 points as the Butler Catholic boys JV defeated Providence Heights Alpha, 32-23. The Saints are 8-6 overall, 5-1 in section play, and host St. Alexis (5-1 in section) at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
