The Butler Junior High wrestling team opened its section season Wednesday with a 72-22 win overMars.

Gaining pins for the Golden Tornado were Sam Dietrich at 115 pounds, Donovan Malovich at 122, Christian Tanner at 130, Joe Cowan at 138, Christian Sequete at 145, Cole Friedt at 165 and Dane Friedt at 185. Tanner’s match was the second of his career.

Logan Donnel won a 6-2 decision at 85 pounds and Saavon Mosby a 7-0 decision at 250. Mosby is 6-0 on the year and has yet to surrender a point in a match.
