The Butler Sting, a 16-under traveling girls softball team, went 4-2 this weekend at a tournament in Crawford County. The squad reached the semifinals.

Stars at the plate included Madison Graham (.438 batting average), Jen Miller (.357), Hope Wonderling (.333), Anna Heade (.308) and Beyonna Eckstein (.308).

Wonderling was 2-1 in the pitcher’s circle, striking out a combined 11 batters and walking three. Emily McDonald also went 2-1, fanning six and walking just one.
