OUR LADY OF FATIMA SHRINE REDEDICATED
Butler Catholic School children celebrated Mary the Blessed Mother's role as a peacemaker Thursday with a May Crowning and a re-dedication of its Our Lady of Fatima shrine. This is the 95th anniversary of the Fatima, Portugal, sightings. Father Kris Stubna, secretary of education, and Robert Paserba, superintendent of schools, attended from the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
Alex Protivnak, Eagle Scout, weeded, cleaned and repainted the shrine, planting flowers in time for the celebration.
