Mars hockey cruises past South Park, 12-0
Nick Blaney and Max Master had three goals and an assist apiece to lead Mars to a 12-0 victory over South Park in PIHL Class A hockey action Tuesday at Warrendale BladeRunners.
Austin Heakins added two goals and three assists and Robert Foley two goals for the Planets (17-2).
Nick Makozy and Noah Master also scored and Craig Mazzotta added two assists for Mars, who outshot the Eagles by a 29-6 margin.
The Planets jumped out to a 7-0 first-period lead.
Next up the Planets will await the Penguin Cup playoff brackets. Mars has won the title three consecutive seasons.
