Darrien Pickett scored 15 points and Kelly Kuharic and Brandon Wright added 11 apiece to lead the Butler eighth-grade White boys basketball team to a 65-61 victory over Hampton to finish the season at 10-7.

• Joel Stutz's 15 points led the Butler seventh-grade White boys basketball team to a 49-35 decision over Hampton, outscoring the Talbots 33-13 in the first half.

Jace Stutz added 13 points and Jefferson Ford 10 for Butler (15-2).

The team had come off a 36-16 victory over Seneca Valley Black recently.

Ford led the Golden Tornado with eight points, while Joel Stutz added seven and Jace Stutz six.

Knoch’s junior high team competed in the 11-team Sharon Tournament recently with Matt Walter, Brandon Yobst and Max Freyermuth all finishing second.Lane Rodgers and Jeremy Frazier finished fourth in their respective weight divisions.
