Brandon Grumski scored four goals — including the tying tally with 3.4 seconds left — and added an assist as Knoch's freshman hockey team tied Ford City, 5-5, Wednesday night.

Jake Broman added a goal and assist. Kenny Damitis, Jake Dietz, Zach Doran, John Jerich, Sevryn Napora, Mike Riley and Sage Strezeski had assists.

Knoch (3-8-1) plays Butler at 6 p.m. Sunday at Ice Connection.

Butler Junior High (9-8) dropped its final dual match of the season, 49-48, to Franklin Regional.Max Stalnaker at 95 pounds, Chris Body at 155, Luke Baranchak at 165 and JD Bojanec at 250 scored pins for the Golden Tornado. Austin Birckbichler, Caleb Baxter, Scotty Dietrich and Zack Hunka won by forfeit.Butler will compete in the District 7 Championship Tournament Feb. 17-18.
