Butler’s freshman boys basketball team improved to 8-1 with a recent 61-44 victory over Pine-Richland.

Nick Patten scored 27 points while Andrew Paterno added 17 for the Golden Tornado.

Butler Catholic’s boys defeated Assumption, 32-24, as Terrence Maryland Thompson scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Joe Farmer had eight rebounds and Bennett BonAnno scored eight points.
