Owen Severson of Cranberry Township is one of 16,000 semifinalists in the 57th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. National Merit finalists will be announced beginning in April.Owen is a senior at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School and is the son of James and Tracy Severson.———

Rachel Robison of Lyndora was awarded the first nursing scholarship from the Raymond C. and Ann M. Seybold Scholarship Fund for $2,000.Robison is a second year student at the Citizens School of Nursing in New Kensington.
