Butler Catholic’s Colton Lineman and Erin Lemay won their respective divisions at Wednesday’s junior varsity cross country meet, in which teams from St. Kilian St. Gregory and St. Ursula and runners from Christ Divine participated at North Boundary Park.
Lineman finished the 1.65-mile course in 11 minutes, 41 seconds, ahead of teammates Tom Preston (14th), Ryan Truax (17th), Nicholas Maher (23rd) and Sean LeMay (24th).
LeMay finished in 12:09 just ahead of runner-up Emma LeMay. They were joined by teammates Caitlyn Peratt (ninth), Sophia Wiest (23rd) and Mia Maher (24th).
In the varsity race, Josh Boyer led Butler Catholic with a second-place showing, Terrance Maryland was third, Noah Ferguson fifth and Brock Grenci 13th. In the girls’ race, Emily Peratt placed 12th and Claire Preston 13th.
