CENTER TWP — The Raven Rock Workwear store at the Clearview Mall is helping Butler Catholic Charities with boots.

The company has a national effort for customers to trade in old work boots for a new pair, and then give those used boots to charities.

It is an effort to help the homeless by providing them with the old work boots.

Raven Rock President Steve Thomas said, “Many of the boots we get traded in are not in bad enough shape to be thrown away. We felt it was a waste considering how many people are going without warm winter boots.”

The company hopes that these donated work boots help people get jobs that require steel toed boots.

All the boots donated at this location will be given to Catholic Charities, 120 W. New Castle St.
