Bernadine F. Miller, 79, formerly of Richland Township and Hidden Valley, died Saturday afternoon at Fosnight's of Valencia.

Born in East Pittsburgh, Jan. 14, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Clara Timm Dorencamp.

Bernadine had attended fashion and modeling school and in her younger years did local modeling.

She was a member of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Somerset and did volunteer work for Special Olympics, Welcome Wagon, Meals on Wheels, Falling Water and UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Surviving are three daughters, Kathleen Bugel (Gary) of Valencia, Maureen Ferguson (Brian) of Wexford and Elisabeth Miller of Arlington, Va.; two sons, Thomas K. Miller (Sherri) of Roanoke, Va., and Timothy Miller (Karen) of Phoenix, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Miller, who she married May 16, 1953, and who died Dec. 25, 2004; and her siblings, Ann Sloan, Dr. Donald Kenneth and Robert Dorencamp.

Miller, who died Saturday, May 7, 2011, will be received at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in the St. Kilian Church, corner of Clark and Cherry streets, Mars, at 4 p.m. Thursday with the Rev.
