Vicari

Dennis Michael Vicari 67, passed away April 15 in Istanbul, Turkey. He was living in Athens, Greece, when he returned to Istanbul to renew his visa.

He was born in Butler and graduated from Butler High School.

At the age of 19, he moved to Northern Virginia and worked for many years as a systems analyst and programmer for insurance companies. When he retired, he decided to travel the world and recently settled in Athens, Greece.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis, and his parents, Hilda and Phillip.

He is survived by a daughter, Christine; grandchildren, Matteo and Isabella; brothers, Dominic and Robert; and a sister, Rose.

A private service for Dennis Michael Vicari who died Friday, April 15, 2011, will be held in Butler later.
