Eileen F. McNelis Saginaw Martin, a former Cranberry Township resident, died peacefully Thursday at the Pleasant Valley Living Center in Little Rock, Ark., at the age of 84.

Known as “Mickey” to her friends and family, she was preceded in death by her siblings, James of New Castle and Francis of Indiana, Patrick of St. Petersburg, Fla., Kathleen Detwiler of New Orleans; and her husband, Robert W. Saginaw.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Dave Foerster of Little Rock; grandchildren, Matt, Danny and Julie Foerster; her son, Jeffrey Saginaw of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Martin earned her registered nursing degree from the St. Francis School of Nursing in 1966, completed her bachelor's from LaRoche College in 1979 and enjoyed her career working in human resources. Upon retirement, she counseled future business owners through SCORE and enjoyed her 14 years as a greeter at the Walmart store in Cranberry Township.

<B>MARTIN</B> — A memorial service for Eileen F. McNelis Saginaw Martin, who died Thursday, April 21, 2011, will be Saturday in Little Rock, Ark. Mrs. Martin will be laid to rest in Pittsburgh.Arrangements are under the direction of the <B>Ruebel Funeral Home</B>, Little Rock, and an online guest book is available at www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.
